RE the statement, "As largely white, middle class Americans, a passion for saving the environment comes naturally to UU s." I disagree that "a passion for saving the environment" is natural to middle classes in the USA. It seems we've seen other less-consuming options for years (Amish ways, collectives of various kinds, First Nations' ways) and have chosen to consume and spend simply because we had the money and hung out with others who do also. Seems as if our ways are the problem, not the solution. DDavis
